One of my favorite things in the world is the love and happiness which avocados produce within me. Am I being a little too over-dramatic? Maybe. But let’s be honest here, guacamole is a staple meal which has been around forever. It’s almost an essential in some ways… ok, again with the drama, cue the curtains.
One of the reasons it’s called “Simple Guacamole” is due to it’s simplicity as many guacamole recipes are complicated, overrated and irritating to make. It’s truly all about ratios here. That’s what makes this particular recipe such a killer in the world of guacamole. You’ll appreciate guac 10 times more!
Did I also mention that the perfect chip matters just as much as the guac you’re dipping it in? I’m all for grain-free anything, but these are a savory treat and secret favorite of mine whenever I make or serve guacamole!
I’m a complete, total sucker for “Late July” Lime and Sea Salt Tortilla Chips. You can visit the site here https://www.latejuly.com/snacks/
They are completely Gluten-Free, and made with that Restaurant Style in mind! Wanna get to the best part though? I’ve gotcha covered, I know you’re anxiously waiting, so let’s get talkin…

Ingredients
- 4 Ripe Avocados
- 1 Cup Heirloom Tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro
- 1/3 Cup Lime Juice
- 3 Tsp Himalayan Sea Salt
- 1 Garlic Clove
- Tortilla Chips (I use Late July)
Instructions
- Chop all ingredients and scoop avocado halves into bowl
- Add lime juice and sea salt and smash/cut guacamole until smooth but chunky consistency is reached
- Add cilantro or tomatoes on top, and sprinkle an extra dash of sea salt
- Enjoy best chilled, with tortilla chips of choice!
Notes
Tip: Try not to "over-smash" the avocados, this way you'll be left with a nice chunky consistency, unless you prefer smooth and creamy
