To be brutally honest here, my “Fur Oil” story began last January of this year, a month before an upcoming tropical cruise. I wanted to up my bikini game, and honestly, I wanted to see what the “Fur Oil hype” was all about! You know, a lot of things are simply not worth it, but this was not one of those products! The amazing thing I’ve found about Fur Oil, is you don’t necessarily have to purchase all the different products in order for one to work, but they do all work together if you decide to. Anyways, let’s dive in!

First, you may be wondering what “Fur Oil” even is! Fur oil was designed for everyone, whether you fall on the “spectrum of bare to full”, fur creates products which “hydrate skin, soften hair, and eradicate ingrowns from head to toe.” Whether you are a waxer, a shaver, or choose to go au naturale, “fur” is for you! Want me to break it down for you? Let “Fur” do the talking here 🙂
FOR WAXERS
Keep your skin healthy and ingrown free between waxing sessions, and immediately post-wax to soothe red, irritated skin. With daily use, Fur products will prevent ingrowns, smooth skin, and make regrowth appear finer, as well as cause gentler removal of hair in treatment.
FOR SHAVERS
Keep skin completely smooth immediately post shave and soften prickly stubble as it grows back. With daily use of Fur products, but especially Stubble Cream, live blissfully free of ingrowns, bumps, and razor burn.
FOR AU NATURALE
Care for your head, face, underarms, pubic hair, and legs with equal attention. Our natural, lightweight products are effective enough for your face and gentle enough for your pubic hair and skin. Soften hair and clear pores all over your body for healthy, happy skin and hair.

Let’s get personal, I tend to prefer a more bare take on all body matters, so waxing and shaving are definitely a part of my routine. Too TMI? Sorry, but let’s be honest here, society flip-flops by shaming body hair or removing body hair. Come on! I personally believe it’s an individual choice to remove or maintain body hair up, down and all over, there shouldn’t be any shame regardless! For me personally, as a “remover”, I aimed for particular “fur” products. Keep in mind, I can’t give my opinion on products that aren’t listed here!

I began using the best-selling Fur Oil “Ingrown Concentrate”, coupled with the “Silk Scrub” to work together at softening skin after removal, and preventing ingrowns or burns from appearing. The oil is mainly used as a spot treatment, and I usually use it after the shower or a hair removal treatment. I use the scrub in the shower about 2-3 times a week, and the oil every time I feel I need it. I personally LOVE the scrub, as it works to buff dead skin gently, while resurfacing the skin with a brightening radiance afterwards. By the way, did I mention that Fur (the company as a whole), only uses high-quality, naturally sourced ingredients in their products such as clary sage, jojoba beads, glycolic acid, essential oils and extracts?
I found my skin beginning to brighten, eliminating any irritated appearance, I stopped getting those nasty razor burns and bumps all together, and hair would grow back soft and smooth making it easier to remove for next time! I was so ecstatic at the incredible, quick results that I added the “Ingrown Eliminator” to the mix! Keep in mind, I had been using the two products together for only 3 weeks! The eliminator comes with 12 convenient little packs with serum-soaked finger mitts soothes. The formula is post-hair removal combating irritation and eradicating bumps, resulting in clear skin. These burned a bit at first, but they work wonders and are especially perfect for travel, coupled with the ingrown concentrate!

Like I said earlier, I really only sought out Fur products to up my bikini-game before an upcoming cruise, and to compare the hype with my opinion and experience. After 3 weeks of use a month before my cruise, I was honestly glowing and continued to use the products even after because I didn’t want my skin to go back to the way it was before. I had seen “the other side” now and I’m hooked! Yes, the products are pricey, but even if you just want a temporary “fix” for whatever reason, give it a serious consideration! With this jazz being said, I wish you the best of luck in your skin/hair care endeavors!
